As part of the continued expansion of its staffing division in Singapore, the business is seeking an experienced Business Development Leader to drive client acquisition, revenue growth, and strategic account development across the Commerce & Industry markets

This role is focused primarily on business development, relationship management, and client growth rather than hands-on recruitment delivery.

The successful individual will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client partnerships, and supporting the continued growth and positioning of the staffing business within the Singapore market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development activities across the business
  • Identify, engage, and develop new client relationships across targeted industry sectors
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders including HR, procurement, operations, and business leadership teams
  • Develop solutions opportunities across both contract and permanent recruitment services
  • Support client retention, account growth, and long-term partnership development
  • Work closely with operational delivery and recruitment teams to ensure strong service execution across client accounts
  • Act as a senior commercial representative of the business within the market
  • Lead client presentations, solution discussions, and commercial negotiations
  • Support proposal development, pricing discussions, and workforce solution structuring
  • Maintain strong market visibility and actively build the company’s reputation
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client hiring demands
  • Support leadership with growth strategies, market insights, and commercial planning
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and relationship management across strategic accounts
  • Act as an escalation point for client-related concerns where required

Requirements

  • Proven experience within staffing, workforce solutions, RPO, or recruitment services environments
  • Strong track record in business development and client acquisition within staffing or recruitment
  • Experience selling contract staffing, workforce solutions, or recruitment services
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Comfortable operating within fast-paced and target-driven environments
  • Strong understanding of staffing operations and workforce solutions models
  • Ability to work collaboratively with recruitment delivery and operational teams
  • Established network within Commerce & Industry, operational, industrial, or business support sectors would be advantageous
  • Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills
  • Self-driven, resilient, and growth-oriented mindset
