Senior / Principal Consultant – Data Center | Singapore
About the job
Location: Singapore (regional remit across APAC)
The Opportunity
Data center is having a moment and everyone’s trying to get in on it. Our client isn’t one of the late arrivals. They were building in this space before “DC” was the latest target market, and they’re now reaping the rewards of that early bet.
This is a genuinely candidate-driven market. The winners here aren’t the ones with the biggest job list. They’re the ones who can build real relationships, manage a process with precision, and out manoeuvre counter-offers and competing bids for the same in-demand talent. If that’s you, this is your market.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning delivery and relationship management across a portfolio that spans the region
- Running a tight, well-managed process from first conversation to offer because in this market, the process is the differentiator.
- Navigating multiple offers, counteroffers, and every curveball a hot candidate market throws at you, with the influencing skill to keep candidates and hiring managers aligned.
- Juggling competing priorities across roles and regions without dropping the ball.
- Based in Singapore, but with the scope to work across the region — the company genuinely gives you that runway.
What You’ll Bring
- A background in engineering-adjacent or technical recruitment. Data center experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
- Strong process management and stakeholder influencing ability, ideally proven in a candidate-short, competitive market.
- Ability to map, and convert to conversations and ultimately send outs with high value talent pools
- The commercial awareness to spot and handle counteroffers and multi-offer situations before they cost you a placement.
- The ability to prioritise ruthlessly when everything feels urgent.
Why This One’s Different
Light-touch, pragmatic management. Genuinely down-to-earth, good people. This is one of our favourite clients to work with and it shows in how they treat their team.
If you want ownership, regional scope, and a market that rewards people who can actually deliver, this is worth the conversation.
