The Opportunity
The firm is expanding its HR / People & Culture recruitment practice and is seeking an experienced Associate Director or Team Manager to lead HR recruitment mandates across Asia.
This role suits a high-performing recruiter who thrives on specialist HR searches, enjoys managing complex assignments, and can partner with senior client stakeholders to identify, attract, and secure top HR and People & Culture talent.
You will operate across multiple industries focusing on mid-to-senior HR roles such as HR Business Partners, HR Leaders, Talent & Organisational Development heads, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Operations professionals.
The Role
- Own the HR recruitment niche: Manage a portfolio of HR mandates across industries and seniority levels.
- Client development & account management: Originate new clients, expand existing relationships, and become a trusted HR talent advisor.
- End-to-end recruitment delivery: Research, market mapping, candidate sourcing, shortlisting, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and post-placement follow-up.
- Regional collaboration: Work with colleagues across Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and EMEA to deliver cross-border mandates.
- Thought leadership: Provide market insights, salary benchmarks, and talent trends to strengthen client relationships.
- Mentorship: Support junior consultants and associates through coaching and assignment guidance.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5–10 years’ experience in executive search or recruitment, with significant exposure to HR/People & Culture hiring.
- Proven ability to deliver complex HR mandates and originate new client opportunities.
- Strong networks across HR leadership, talent, and organisational development functions.
- Excellent consultative and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with HR Directors, CHROs, and functional heads.
- High EQ, commercial acumen, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to operate autonomously and strategically.
