We are partnering with a globally established workforce solutions platform to appoint a Business Manager – Contracting to lead and scale its Taiwan operations.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity within a mature international business operating across energy, infrastructure, and advanced industrial sectors.
The Role
This is a hybrid commercial leadership position requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on client engagement.
You will lead a well-performing contracting division managing a large number of active contractors across multiple live projects, supported by a lean but capable team of recruiters and business development professionals.
The mandate is to strengthen the client-facing function, drive commercial expansion, and build operational structure to support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Own and drive contracting revenue performance in Taiwan
- Develop and execute commercial strategy aligned with regional and global objectives
- Expand sector coverage beyond traditional energy markets into adjacent growth industries
- Strengthen inbound project flow and diversify revenue streams
- Client Leadership
- Maintain direct, consultative relationships with key clients
- Lead negotiations, scope definition, and solution structuring
- Elevate the front-end, client-facing approach to ensure consistency and professionalism
- Operational & Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and business development professionals
- Implement clear KPIs aligned with global strategy
- Build structure across the full project lifecycle to reduce revenue volatility
Ideal Profile
- Strong experience in contracting solutions, workforce services, or business development within a consulting or project-based environment
- Commercially astute with solid financial and strategic understanding
- Confident and credible in front of senior client stakeholders
- Comfortable operating within a structured, global corporate environment
- Experienced in leading and scaling teams within Asia
- Ambitious, hands-on leader willing to remain close to clients and operations
