The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing FinTech practice at a stage of active regional growth. The role suits an experienced 360 recruiter who wants to take ownership of a defined FinTech niche, open new client logos, and scale key accounts across verticals such as Payments, Digital Banking, Embedded Finance, Lending, Wealth/Asset Tech, RegTech/Compliance Tech, InsurTech and adjacent platforms.

You’ll operate on a high-trust, entrepreneurial platform with access to regional relationships, cross-border collaboration, and a full suite of solutions: retained and executive search, contingent, and interim/contracting.

What You Will Do

  • Own your FinTech niche: Focus on one or more sub-markets such as Payments & Issuing/Acquiring, Digital/Virtual Banking, Lending/BNPL, Wealth/Asset Tech, Embedded Finance, RegTech/Compliance Tech, or InsurTech.
  • Recruit across the FinTech stack: Deliver roles in Product, Engineering, Data/ML, Risk, Compliance, Fraud, Treasury, Operations, Sales/Partnerships/Commercial, and Leadership.
  • Drive business growth: Originate, pitch, and convert new clients while deepening engagement with existing accounts through multi-solution delivery.
  • Run full-cycle search processes: From research and market mapping through to shortlisting, offer management, and post-placement follow-up.
  • Build market presence: Create market and salary updates, co-host roundtables or meet-ups, and maintain active candidate communities with marketing support.
  • Collaborate regionally: Partner with colleagues across Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and EMEA to deliver cross-border mandates and expand shared accounts.

What You’ll Bring

  • Full-cycle recruitment experience within FinTech or adjacent BFSI/Technology sectors (as a niche specialist or part of a broader practice).
  • Demonstrated success in new business development and account growth.
  • Commercial acumen and confidence to position contingent, retained, and contracting models.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, credible with founders, product/tech leaders, and HR.
  • High EQ, professionalism, and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Regional fluency and cross-border experience (Japanese/Mandarin advantageous).
