The Opportunity
The firm is expanding its Insurance practice across Life, Health, General, and Reinsurance markets. This role suits an experienced 360 recruiter who enjoys building relationships, developing niche expertise, and delivering high-impact executive recruitment assignments.
You’ll work across diverse functions including actuarial, underwriting, claims, operations, risk, transformation, and distribution, partnering with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and insurtech players across the region.
As a Consultant or Senior Consultant, you’ll manage existing accounts, originate new client relationships, and execute end-to-end search assignments. Senior Consultants will also play a strategic role in regional business development, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the growth of the practice.
The Role
- Own a defined Insurance niche: Life & Health, General, Reinsurance, Broking, or InsurTech.
- Recruit across multiple functions: Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Distribution, Risk, Product, and Transformation.
- Develop client partnerships: Manage established accounts while winning new business across Asia.
- Deliver end-to-end searches: Research, market mapping, shortlisting, interview management, offer negotiation, and post-placement follow-up.
- Collaborate regionally: Work closely with colleagues across Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and EMEA on cross-border mandates.
- Contribute to thought leadership: Share market insights, co-create content, and participate in networking events and roundtables.
The Ideal Candidate
- 3–6 years of 360 recruitment or executive search experience, ideally within Insurance or adjacent BFSI sectors.
- Demonstrated billing success and strong business development capability.
- Credibility with senior stakeholders — including C-suite, functional heads, and HR business partners.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate autonomously while contributing to team success.
- Passion for the Insurance industry and commitment to building long-term client and candidate relationships.
