The Opportunity
The firm is expanding its Risk & Compliance practice to meet strong, sustained demand across financial services, fintech, and corporate sectors. This role suits an experienced 360 recruiter who wants to take ownership of a clearly defined Risk & Compliance niche, build long-term partnerships, and deliver critical leadership and specialist mandates regionally.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-trust culture with access to regional relationships, cross-border collaboration, and a full suite of delivery models including retained search, contingent recruitment, and interim/contracting solutions.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Own your Risk & Compliance niche: Focus on areas such as Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crime / AML, Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Conduct Risk, ESG / Sustainability Risk, or Internal Audit.
- Recruit across levels and sectors: Deliver mid-to-senior mandates across banking, insurance, fintech, and selected corporates.
- Develop and grow accounts: Originate, pitch, and convert new business opportunities while deepening existing client relationships.
- Manage full-cycle searches: Conduct research, market mapping, candidate outreach, shortlisting, process management, offer negotiation, and post-placement care.
- Build market presence: Publish concise insights, salary reports, or thought pieces; co-host roundtables and maintain warm candidate communities with marketing support.
- Collaborate regionally: Partner with colleagues across Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and EMEA to deliver cross-border mandates and joint client solutions.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven 360 recruitment experience in Risk & Compliance or adjacent verticals such as Audit, Legal, Governance, or Financial Services.
- Track record of originating and growing client relationships across banking, insurance, or fintech.
- Commercial confidence to position contingent, retained, and contracting models based on client needs.
- Credibility with senior stakeholders including CROs, Heads of Compliance, Internal Audit leaders, and HR business partners.
- High EQ, drive, and integrity: disciplined in pipeline management, clear communication, and strong delivery follow-through.
- Regional fluency (advantageous): Japanese, Mandarin, or other Asian languages; experience managing cross-border assignments.
