We’re partnering with a fast-growing global retail brand with teams across key international markets. 

They’re now seeking an Assistant Manager, People Operations, a hands-on operator who can lead regional HR operations, keep things moving across borders, and act as the key point of contact for the US market.

This role suits someone who gets things done, a sharp, proactive problem-solver who thrives on making systems work smarter, not harder.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and lead regional HR operations across key international markets.
  • Be the go-to person for coordinating vendors, handling HR operations, and ensuring compliance.
  • Manage and coach local HR and office teams to deliver smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee HR processes including contracts, payroll inputs, benefits, and employee movements.
  • Drive process improvements, strengthen HR systems, and support monthly people reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR initiatives and reporting.

Who You Are

  • 7–10 years of experience in HR operations or regional HR roles, with strong knowledge of labor laws around the region.
  • Proven leadership experience managing distributed HR or office teams.
  • Skilled at managing external vendors with a clear sense of ownership and accountability.
  • A data-savvy, detail-oriented professional who knows how to balance structure with flexibility.
  • A smart worker, not just a hard worker. Someone who spots inefficiencies, fixes them fast, and keeps standards high.
  • A natural leader and overachiever who thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments.
