About the job
Our client is a globally established executive search firm with a strong footprint across key markets and an ambitious growth agenda in Asia Pacific, with Singapore positioned as the regional hub. With a team-oriented culture and a commitment to deep expertise, they are expanding their headcount and are on the lookout for a Senior or Principal Consultant to build and lead a vertical in a defined industry space (e.g., Banking, Legal, Risk & Compliance).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and drive full-cycle 360° recruitment – from sourcing Associates through to Partners and in-house roles
- Build and grow a specific practice area through proactive networking, thought leadership, and market insight
- Win and deliver on senior-level search mandates by collaborating closely with both candidates and clients
- Actively contribute to shaping the firm’s presence in Asia, with a strong focus on the Singapore market
- Operate independently with the support of a global team of 16, including a growing Singapore-based team of 4
What We’re Looking For
- University degree is essential
- Candidates with legal training or backgrounds are highly preferred, especially those looking to pivot into search
- Experience in legal in-house recruitment, private practice, or risk & compliance hiring will be advantageous
- Track record in delivering senior-level hires with a strategic approach to business development
- High EQ/IQ, exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially astute with the ability to hold tough conversations and negotiate at senior levels
- Curious, adaptable, and hungry to challenge the status quo
- Team player with a growth mindset and a collaborative spirit
