The Opportunity

We’re partnering with one of Japan’s most established and high-performing recruitment businesses to appoint an experienced Recruitment Consultant into its specialist Financial Services team.

This opportunity focuses on the Middle Office market, supporting Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and FinTech clients across Japan. Joining an established yet growing practice, you’ll have the autonomy to build your desk around your existing expertise and network, rather than inheriting a heavily restricted market.

Whether your background covers Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime, Treasury, Operations, Product Control, Trade Support, Change & Transformation, Governance, Internal Audit or broader Middle Office functions, you’ll have the opportunity to establish yourself as a recognised market specialist.

• A successful track record within Financial Services, Banking, FinTech or related specialist markets.
• Experience recruiting across Middle Office disciplines or adjacent functional areas.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• A commercial mindset, resilience and the ability to build long-term client and candidate partnerships.

Exceptional sales professionals from outside recruitment who can demonstrate outstanding commercial performance and the ambition to build a recruitment career will also be considered.
